Siddharth Malhotra who recently gained some extra weight while shooting for the movie “Brothers” is now becoming a vegetarian to shed the extra weight for his next flick. His role in “Brothers” was that of a martial art fighter and he needs to look like a regular guy for his next film with a normal physique and so he has shifted to a carb-free diet.
While shooting for “Brothers”, his diet mainly comprised of red meat and fish and he gained around eight to nine kg in seven months. Now that he has finished shooting for the same, he is getting his body ready for his next film.
Siddharth is also quoted to have said, “I have eaten a lot of meat and fish in the past seven months to gain weight for my film, and now I’m going completely vegetarian to detox and to give my body a break.”
The actor has already lost around 2 kgs and he plans to lose more in the coming months with his carb free diet.
